Robyn writes as Robyn Shortwoman on social media.  Her posts on the Friends of Ruthven Mansions facebook group explore the history of the building, and some of the people who called the flats home. These include such interesting names as Elena Rubeo, first woman to be an Italian consul in Australia,  Evelyn James, nee Marsden, the only Australian woman to survive the sinking of the Titanic and Sir Douglas Mawson, celebrated Antartic explorer.
