Shortwoman Press is the brainchild of Robyn Heitmann, who writes as both Tilley Baxter and as Robyn Shortwoman.
Despite, as a young woman, winning a writing competition where the prize was worth more than her car, Robyn did not seriously consider pursuing writing until a few years ago, when she received an honourable mention for Honouring Introdaqua in the E M Forster awards for short family stories.
As Tilley Baxter she has published At the Hem of the Empire
As Robyn Shortwoman she contributes to The Friends of Ruthven Mansions, raising awareness of the history of the historic Adelaide landmark.
